Our Vision

To Tell Others About Jesus!

To obey the God is not always easy!  The Bible tells us He rebuked the "Eleven" for their unbelief, and hardness of heart.  We want to learn from this rebuke. We ask our Lord to help us keep our eyes on Him so that our hearts stay full of Faith. We need to bind the spirit of unbelief in our lives, so our daily journey with God will not be hindered. We ask the Lord to keep us tender and open to the Precious Holy Spirit when He speaks to us. We know that Father God does not expect sinless perfection, as no one except Christ has ever lived a perfect sinless life. However God does make provision through His Word for us to live a Holy Life through the Blood of Jesus Christ. The Bible does teach us we must keep our eyes on Christ and His finished work at Calvary.  Then, and only then, will our Faith remain strong.

To work for God we must desire to Live for Him.  Sometimes He will correct us.  That does not mean He does not love us, but just the opposite.  He disciplines those he loves. (Hebrews 12:5-7)  If the Lord felt it necessary to warn and rebuke the "Eleven" for their unbelief, we must take heed also to His Words, so we too can fulfill the "Great Commission." Just as He told them, Jesus is telling us today what to do until He returns.

The Great Commission: (Mark 16:15-18)   "And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature." (v-15)  We need to do our part in giving others an opportunity to accept Christ. This is every Believer's responsibility!
"He who believes and is baptized shall be saved." (v-16)  We must believe in Christ and the Cross of Calvary to be saved. (This is to be baptized unto Christ. This is not speaking of water baptism.) (Romans 6: 3-5)
"but he who believes not shall be damned
". (John 3:16)
"And these signs shall follow them who believe." (v-17)
When we work for our Lord he ask for us to strive to live a Holy Life. He requires us to lay down the old life of sin. He does not want our sins to follow us but "these signs shall follow us that believe!
1) "In My Name shall they cast out devils."
At Calvary Christ defeated all demon spirits, fallen angels, and himself. Colossians (Colossians 2:14-15)
2) "they shall speak with new tongues." This is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.       (Acts 2:4)

Verse 18 A, "They shall take up serpents" This has nothing to do with snakes... but "Spiritual Authority" over spirit beings. He is telling us that we have power if need be to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt us! This is telling us we have power in Christ over the enemy!  (Luke 10:19)

Verse 18 B,
"and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them."
We are not to ever tempt God!
(Matthew 4:7) As Christ spoke this to satan, we do not have to prove anything satan or the world.  We are not to strive to show satan or others we have Faith in our God.  As we keep our eyes on Christ and the Cross, our Faith in Christ remains secure and we remain protected by God. This verse is referring to if we accidentally drink something deadly. This is speaking of God's protection!

Verse 18 C,
"they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
In Jesus Name, we are
"commissioned" to lay hands on the sick and they shall be healed! (Isaiah 58:8)  If we go God's Way, which is the way of His Word, and place our Faith completely in Him...our prayers will not be hindered.  Our light will break forth as the morning and our health will spring forth speedily!  Our righteousness, (which is Christ) will go before us, and the Glory of our Lord will be our rearward. (follow us)

I have heard it said many times, "I want to know what the Lord has for me to do." This is a good place to start knowing the heart of God.  Isn't it interesting to read these verses and realize that God is telling "Every Believer" to keep their heart tender toward Him, and to follow His "Great Commission".  This is a giant step towards us knowing how Father God desires to use each one of us in our everyday life!
