"We must study to show ourselves approved..."
We are instructed to:
"Study to show yourselves approved unto God, a workman who
needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth." 2
Timothy 2:15
For us to be strong in our Faith we will soon after our
"Salvation Experience" need to start studying God's Word. As we stated
in the Prayer section of our Website, Nothing we do will ever add to Our
Salvation because Jesus did it all for us on Calvary when He gave His
Life for us. At Calvary it was all done for us! However after we give
our life to Christ in order for us to grow in our "Relationship with Him"
we will need to start learning about Father God, His Son and the Precious Holy Spirit. The Bible
teaches us that Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
(Romans 10:17) Here in this section, "Bible Study" is where we
will do just that. The Bible has answers to all the issues of Life and
we are going to dig deep to find life's treasures in the Word of God.
One of those treasures are found in:
Did you know... Jesus
had half siblings? and... Did you know that James was the Brother of
Jesus our Lord? There is a Book in the New Testament written by James. (In James 1:5-8)
James is teaching us that if we lack "Wisdom", we are to ask Father God
to give us the Wisdom we need. We all need greater knowledge of God's
Word! But we must ask in "Faith" and waver not! We are not to be like
the sea, driven with the wind and tossed every which way! If we are
like the sea, tossed and driven we will not receive from the Lord. Then
we will be as a "Doubled Minded Man," unstable in all our ways. I do
not want Father God to see me as "Doubled Minded Man." How do you want
Father God to see you? I want Father God to see me Learning to put my
Faith in Calvary's Provision for me, because that is how I will have
stability in my life. When we put our Faith anywhere else we will be
like a "Double Minded Man".
Come to Bible Study prepared! If at all possible bring a Bible, Pen, Notebook, and
an Expectancy in your Heart to hear from the Lord. As we begin to grow in our Walk with God we will not just know the "Acts" of God. As we start to be Drawn closer and closer to our Lord, we will begin to know the "Ways" of Father God. (Psalms 103:7) The "Carnal Man" sees through his own intellect and can recognize "Divine Acts of God." However, God speaks to those who desire to have Relationship with Him differently. God will speak to our "Spirit Man" and make known to us "His Ways" like he did Moses!
Bible Studies are located in the Media Section. Go to Media, then push on Bible Studies. Pick the Bible Study you desire to enter. Sister Joy is always adding New Bible Studies as the Holy Spirit leads. You will not leave any Bible Study the same. It is our time to be along with the Lord and feel His Presence move through our hearts and lives.
